West Wars 2016

Our club hosted our annual convention May 14-15.  We had good attendance for both days.  I ran my War of 1812 (Muskets and Tomahawks rules) game Saturday morning.  People were slow to attend, but that just gave me some more time to setup.  Sunday we had our regular swap meet.  I wish I was able to unload more, but I think I did okay monetary wise.  That afternoon I played in my first Bolt Action game (Chindits vs Japanese).  I thought the game was okay.  Surprisingly I found it similar to the Muskets and Tomahawks rules.  I think I need to try out another Bolt Action game and maybe the upcoming version 2 will be an improvement.  We also voted in the 2016-17 CMH board.  It was not easy finding a Vice-President volunteer, but we found one.  I would volunteer again for the board, but I just don't have a lot of time with a three year old at home.

I took a bunch of pictures from the weekend convention.  Here are a few below.  Bottom are links to all the photos.
